Gordon Grant is the principal of NXFD and is currently on assignment as Finance Director of DEM Solutions Ltd.  DEM supplies simulation and analysis software across many major industries. Their “world’s first” technology is designed using state-of-the-art discrete element modelling and is used by global blue chip clients in the main areas of particle handling and manufacturing operations.

Gordon's experience is extensive. From 2004-2005, he undertook a special 8 month assignment as interim Chief Executive of Petrodata Ltd, in Aberdeen, which supplied remote well management systems to the international oil and gas industry and from 1992 to 2004, he worked for Edinburgh Petroleum Services Ltd, the leading production optimisation software solution provider delivering to over 400 exploration and production companies world wide, accumulating revenues over this time of £65m and employing an average of 74 people across 8 offices.  He was Finance Director for the group as well as serving as a Director in the USA, Mexico and Venezuela and was also President of its manpower leasing company in Mexico.  Before this, he was with Unisys Corporation (1987-1992), where he held a variety of financial analysis roles, covering product assurance, engineering development, and manufacturing.  Employment prior to this was drawn from a combination of industrial accounting experience with the printers, Tullis Neill Ltd (1985-1987) and auditing experience gained with Arthur Young McLelland Moore (1983-1985, now part of Ernst & Young).  He has also served as a trustee of various pension and beneficiary trusts.
